Important Notice – Please Read Carefully

This document is a legal contract that limits Beasts Armoured Combat Inc.’s liability for personal injury or death. It applies to your participation in dangerous recreational activities. You should read every clause thoroughly and are encouraged to seek independent legal advice before accepting it.
 

1 | Dangerous Recreational Activity & Nature of Danger

Beasts Armoured Combat activities—including, but not limited to, soft-kit and steel weapon drills, sparring, wrestling, grappling, throws, break-falls and fight choreography—are dangerous recreational activities that can cause serious injury or death.

 

2 | Risks You May Face

Risks include (without limitation):
• sprains, fractures, dislocations and lacerations
• concussion, spinal or internal injuries
• permanent disability or death
• injuries caused by your own actions, other participants, equipment failure or the negligence of the Club’s officers, trainers, volunteers or agents

 

3 | Acceptance of Risk & Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by section 139A of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you:

1. Voluntarily assume all risks—known or unknown—associated with participation; and

2. Release and forever discharge Beasts Armoured Combat Inc., its officers, council members, trainers, volunteers and agents from liability for personal injury or death (including liability arising from negligence).

4 | Fitness to Participate

You warrant that you are physically fit for strenuous combat activities and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional.

 

5 | Medical Treatment Consent

You authorise the Club to secure medical treatment it deems necessary if you are injured or become ill during an activity and agree to pay any associated costs.

 

6 | Media Release

You grant the Club the right to use photographs or video of you taken during activities for promotional or educational purposes. Personal recordings require prior staff approval.

7 | Safety & Behaviour

You agree to follow all posted rules, safety briefings, and any verbal directions issued by Club personnel.

8 | Drug & Alcohol Policy

You confirm you will not participate while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (including prescription medication that impairs performance).

 

9 | Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This waiver is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any legal proceedings must be commenced in that jurisdiction.

 

Summary & Digital Acknowledgement

By ticking the acceptance box and submitting this form, you declare that:

• You are at least 18 years old;

• You have read and understood every clause of this waiver;

• You understand and accept the specific risks described above;

• You enter a binding contract with Beasts Armoured Combat Inc. that varies your legal rights;

• You have had the opportunity to ask questions and/or seek legal advice before accepting.
