Legal Liability Waiver

This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of your participation in Beasts Armoured Combat Inc. club activities. Please read this document carefully before signing.

1. Acknowledgment of Risks: You understand that participation in our club activities, including but not limited to rolls, break falls, low falls, sword striking (both soft kit and steel), fight choreography, wrestling, and grappling, come with inherent risks. These risks may result in various injuries, including serious injuries, permanent disability, or death. You acknowledge these risks and confirm that your participation is voluntary.

2. Assumption of Risk: You knowingly and freely assume all risk associated with your participation in our activities, both known and unknown, even those arising out of the negligence of other participants or Beasts Armoured Combat Inc., its officers, volunteers, trainers, and council members.

3. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Beasts Armoured Combat Inc., its volunteers, trainers, and council members from and against any and all costs, expenses, damages, lawsuits, and/or liabilities or claims arising whether directly or indirectly from or related to any and all claims made by or against any of the released party due to injury, loss, or death from or related to your participation.

4. Fitness to Participate: You assert that you are physically fit and have not been advised by a qualified medical professional not to engage in strenuous physical activity like that offered by Beasts Armoured Combat Inc.

5. Consent to Medical Treatment: You consent to receive any medical treatment deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during the club activities.

6. Photographic Release: You grant Beasts Armoured Combat Inc. permission to use your likeness in photograph or video form for promotional purposes. Personal photography or video recording must be pre-approved by a staff member.

7. Compliance with Rules: You agree to observe and obey all posted rules and warnings, and further agree to follow any oral instructions given by Beasts Armoured Combat Inc., or its employees, representatives or agents.

8. Drug and Alcohol-Free Environment: You affirm that you will not be under the influence of alcohol or any illicit or prescription drugs which would in any way impair your ability to safely participate in our activities.

9. Jurisdiction: This agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any litigation involving the parties to this agreement shall be brought within the state of Queensland.

By agreeing to this legal liability waiver, terms and conditions, you acknowledge that you have read and understood all of its terms and conditions, you are at least 18 years old, and you are signing it voluntarily.

Your personal information is stored on the servers of our website host Wix or our business app host Google. Physical copies of your personal information may be kept securely by council members or stored at the club premises.
